Lovable: budget for the app after the first prompt
Building a prototype and paying to run it are different jobs.
Provider documentation checked . This is a documentation review, not a hands-on product test.
The part to check first
The current credit documentation describes one balance covering building, chat, Cloud and deployed AI usage. A low-build month can still have running costs.
When it can be a useful fit
An app prototype when you are willing to inspect the generated work, track usage and test the important user journeys yourself.
Start with the job, not the feature count. Write what you need to publish, who must maintain it and the result that would make it useful. Then try that small version before moving your whole website.
The plan and the price basis
- Plan considered
- Credit-based platform; no fixed full-cost quote
- Cost check
- A subscription alone does not establish the cost of your actual usage.
A subscription price is only one part of the decision. List your domain, paid integrations, collaborators and usage charges separately. Check the amount due today and the renewal terms at checkout.
A practical check before you commit
- Write one real task, including the result that would count as success.
- Record credits before and after completing it, including corrections.
- List running services separately: database, hosting, email and any AI calls.
- Use the documented GitHub workflow, then test a restore. A repository does not prove every hosted service has moved.
Save a copy of the task, the plan you tried and the limits you reached. That gives you something concrete to compare with another builder. An attractive demo or a confident answer cannot replace this check.
What this review does not establish
We have not measured this product’s conversion lift, reliability, accessibility or support quality. We do not know your final bill. Missing information is a question to verify, not a failed feature or a reason to invent a score.
Published plans change. Use the linked provider pages to confirm the terms for your account, country and selected billing period before paying.
