PLAIN RECKONER DOCS
Start with one question.
Pick a job below. Use your own figures, check what is missing, then choose your next step.
1. Set up your project
Choose what you run and what you want to improve. You must finish this setup before opening the app. Use Settings to change it later. Add a budget if you know it. A budget is a spending limit, not revenue.
What do the header marks mean?
- Not started: no work is recorded for that section.
- In progress: some information is entered.
- Ready: a useful starting set is recorded: your offer and test plan, or a completed set of business figures.
Ready does not mean every tool is complete or that your business has passed a test. Example briefs do not earn a Ready mark. Numbers expire after 24 hours in this tab.
Choose Simple, Medium or Expert in the header to show more detail. All levels are open. No quiz is needed.
2. Message & testing
Use this when people do not understand what you sell or what to do next.
- Explain your offer: name the customer, problem, result and next action.
- Plan your homepage: use the same offer to arrange the page.
- Build your page: edit and export HTML and CSS. Check the preview before using it.
- Choose an action: make the next step clear. A click is not a sale.
- Ask real readers: save a draft, recruit people, then record what they understood. We do not supply participants or invent their answers.
- Plan a test: choose one change, the result to measure and a review date.
Try example fills a practice brief. It is not a customer case study. Keep your real proof separate.

3. Numbers & analysis
Use this to understand ad income or store costs.
- Start your analysis. Choose a store or publishing website.
- Use figures from the same month and currency. Enter zero only when a cost is really zero. Leave unknown figures blank.
- Add a public website only if you want us to check its public pages.
- Read the main result and missing information. Open the breakdown for more detail.
- Open a suggested tool. Save a comparison, change one input and check what changed.
Page RPM means ad revenue per 1,000 pageviews. Sessions, users and ad impressions are different counts.
Store contribution means money left after the entered selling costs. It excludes tax, overhead, owner pay and costs you did not enter. It is not total business profit.
A public scan cannot see private sales, guarantee ad approval or measure real speed. A historical benchmark is not a forecast.
Learn more: RPM and CPM and cash flow and profit.
4. SaaS search
Use this when you need a tool for a specific job.
- Search by task: try “email marketing” or “website builder.” Nothing is sent while you type.
- Inspect a match. Check its price, limits and missing facts.
- Select up to four tools. Compare them in the same table.
- Load extra listing details if you need them. Availability depends on the source.
- Test your real task before paying. Text relevance is not a customer review or proof of fit.
The 400,000+ figure is the source directory’s advertised size. We have not tested every listing. Dates tell you when a record was fetched or documentation was checked; they do not prove a price is still current.
If the source fails, dated researched choices may still appear. After three failed requests, we offer a free manual review.
5. Keep control of your work
Your brief and selected tools stay in this browser. Store and guided-analysis figures stay in this tab for up to 24 hours. Clearing browser data can remove them.
Use Account to save supported project fields when signed in. Reader responses and calculator figures are not included in that cloud save. Check the preview before saving or sharing.
Exporting to an AI chat is your choice. Anything you paste there is handled by that service. Shared links can include numbers when you choose that option.
